Meg D Rapp

I am an Ulster County native - born & raised - with a long history here on the Kingston Rondout! I received my Associates in Fine Art from SUNY Ulster before studying Art History & Museum Profession with minors in Fashion History and French. MDR Boutique was opened here out the Rondout after college where I held the roles of owner, designer, buyer, merchandiser, and curator. Upon closing shop in 2015, I went on to join Beth at NEXT Boutique as Asst Manager and Buyer. Jewelry found its way to me when Hudson Valley Goldsmith reached out with interest in joining their company. I worked there for 2 years before working in corporate jewelry for several years. During this time, I was learning everything I possibly could about jewelry, gemology, and the industry. I have since received several certifications from the Gemological Institute of America, including Diamond & Gemstone Essentials. My goal is to someday earn my Graduate Gemology degree.
